Student council elections are completely run by the third grade classrooms as part of the How We Organize Ourselves unit of inquiry. Student council elections take place in October each year. Each third through fifth grade classroom runs a primary election. Two students from each classroom are elected to be on Student Council.

From the elected council fourth and fifth grade representatives then run for the Exective. The entire school votes for President, Vice-president, Secretary and Treasurer.

Mrs. Wells, our 3rd-5th grade Counselor is the staff representative for Student Council. Student council meets approximately once every two weeks during the school day.
